Detpak was recognised with the pinnacle award from the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) for Sustainable Packaging Excellence. This award is open to all APCO members, around 1,100 organisations, representing Australia's largest retail brands, packaging companies, logistics and other supply chain partners and Detpak is proud to be the first packaging company to win this award.

Detpak’s RecycleMe™ program is a great example of how industry can apply innovation to solve difficult problems, like diverting takeaway cups from landfill.

“Our on going recognition from APCO is the result of providing our customers with products capturing the latest in sustainability initiatives and providing clarity so our customers can be confident in what they need to achieve, and how to get there practically and competitively.

CupPrint has won the prestigious Innovation in Waste Management Award at the Pakman Awards, Ireland’s premier awards which recognise and celebrate excellence in recycling and waste management. The awards took place in Dublin on October 25th.

General Manager of CupPrint,Terry Fox said:“We’redelighted to have our work producing recyclable paper cups under the reCUP brand recognised in this way. Many operators in Ireland are already using the reCUP, responding to customer pressure for sustainable

The Vaiopak Group recently won Cleantech Company of the Year, sponsored by Allia, at the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards. Based in London,UK, they're responsible for selling millions of re-Eco cups made with EarthCoating®monthly.

The winners of the 2018 Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards were revealed in front of a capacity audience at the Hilton Cambridge City Centre Hotel, featuring many of the brightest minds across a range of science and technologysectors.

Editor Paul Brackley told the crowd that the judging panel had a challenging time because of the “phenomenal”standard and range of entries to the awards.
